Statistics about orphans in Pakistan
According to the United Nations, Pakistan has more than 4.6 million orphan children, the majority of them are under the age of 17. This large segment of the population is suffering from societal degradation, which requires immediate attention
The problem faced by orphans in Pakistan:
More orphans face a variety of physical, sociological, and psychological issues, such as hunger, lack of learning, and abuse. Only 5% believe they will be able to complete a primary school. Without help, kids will grow up to be ignorant, unskilled, and impoverished adults. Every Child is entitled to the chance to develop and flourish in life. For many orphan children in Pakistan, however, essential basics remain scarce. These children have never had a happy home or a safe place to play, nor do they have access to a good education, medical care, or nutritious food.
Children's suffering is without a doubt one of humanity's most significant crimes. Children in Pakistan are particularly vulnerable to the assault of problems posed by war, disease, malnutrition, and the prolonged drought. The development of the conflict in Pakistan has also had a significant role in the current plight of many children without a parent.
HRF Orphan Sponsorship Program to help Orphans
Our mission is to provide care and support to children who have lost their parents' love and support, allowing them to thrive and complete their education. Children are society's most vulnerable members, and they require consistent and comprehensive care and assistance to develop and thrive. With merely PKR. 5,000/- per month, HRF is sponsoring children through its orphan sponsorship program. You can also sponsor an orphan to make a positive difference in the child's life. Orphan Sponsorship Program allows you to provide ongoing help to a specific child. Your donation is made directly to the orphan's family or guardian, whether it is made monthly or annually. The primary aim of these cash grants is to support not only the deprived orphan in their education and food but also the cash support can ease the pressure on the widow and their other children. HRF does not take the kid away from the family, rather wants to keep the child with the family and in the local community. Once the child becomes a grown-up, so he/she may not feel any stigma of the orphanage. HRF provides this support to the children between the age of 6-12 and continues this grant till the age of 18, if the child does not stop education
Our Orphan Sponsorship Program offers hope, love, and a bright future to orphan youngsters. We provide roughly 75,500 people with food, education, hygiene, and other vital needs every year. With the world's orphan population reaching at least 153 million, we've made it a significant priority to expand our Orphan Sponsorship Program significantly.

Asma Batool is a sixth-grade student at a public school in Kohat. Her father was killed in the bombing, leaving five children and his wife to mourn his death. Before long, his family suffered financial losses as a result of his death. His wife had no choice but to withdraw her children from school.
